What to Expect
Initially, therapy begins with an overview of the problem with which you are struggling, the goals that brought you to seek help, and your relevant personal history. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have, and for you to evaluate whether I am the right fit to help you with your needs. I want to get to know and understand you, what you are struggling with, and how it is impacting you. Initially, general goals are cultivating connection and emotional safety and building your internal resources. We can go at your pace, and I welcome your input, questions, and collaboration as we move forward. I invite you to make therapy a safe space in which to unload, release, and leave your problems.
